Question Deadline 04/22/2025 at 10:00 AM CT all questions and inquiries related to this Request for Qualifications shall be addressed in writing, via the Brazos Valley Online Bidding System The City of Bryan is requesting qualifications for SCADA System improvements. The purpose of the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) process is to identify the most qualified Firm(s). It is intended that the selected Firm(s) or team(s) accomplish and/or supply all services outlined in this Request for Qualifications. The City has made no promises or representations and cannot offer, promise or guarantee that the selected Firm will be awarded any future contracts to provide additional services to the city. The City intends to fund the study in part by securing Texas General Land Office Resilient Communities Program funding The City of Bryan ("City") is requesting statements of qualifications ("RFQ") from Professional Engineering firms and other acknowledged Professional Services ("Firms") in this RFQ for engineering and associated services in design, testing, and programming for its Water SCADA system. Project Background Water System The City's water production and distribution system "Water System" is comprised of the High Service Pump Stations, Wellfield Pump Station, three water towers (a fourth tower is under design), three pumped interconnections, and twelve water wells. The City seeks to evaluate and upgrade the Water SCADA to replace aging technologies with new to improve system function, operation, storage of historic data, and report generation. The Water SCADA operates using an analog radio connection between the host location (via repeater) and all remote facilities. Three pump interconnections and future water tower are not currently monitored by SCADA. Inclusion of these facilities into SCADA is desired. The Water SCADA operates using the iFIX platform. Given the time and expense required to develop new screens, the City's inclination is to remain on this system. However, alternative platforms to iFix may be considered for system upgrade if it lacks the flexibility or robustness required of the new SCADA system
