Borough of Tuckerton SFY 2024 Sewer Main Replacement Project-Daddy Tucker Drive located in Little Egg Harbor Township - New Jersey Environmental I-Bank Program Project No. S340034-06: The total project includes the following: Removal and replacement of approximately 1,159 LF of existing sanitary sewer pipe with 8-inch PVC SDR 26 sanitary sewer pipe, removal and replacement of approximately 810 linear feet of sanitary sewer lateral including wyes, cleanouts and connection to existing lateral; removal and replacement of approximately 6 sanitary sewer manholes; approximately 1,394 SY of initial municipal pavement restoration, 55 SY initial county pavement restoration, approximately 265 SY of final county pavement restoration and all required fittings, dewatering, restriping, traffic control and restoration of driveway, etc. NOTE: The sanitary sewer system located within Daddy Tucker Drive in Litle Egg Harbor Township is owned and operated by the Borough of Tuckerton The Bid Receipt Date will be at least 10 days after the advertisement date. Project award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder within 60 days of the bid opening. The successful lowest responsible Bidder must comply with all provisions of N.J.A.C.7:22-9.1 ET. SEQ., Rules and Regulations for Awarding Contracts for State Assisted Projects to Small Business Concerns Owned and Controlled by Economically Disadvantaged Individuals (included within). The successful lowest responsible Bidder shall comply with the project plan developed by the sponsor to fulfill SED utilization requirements, as defined in the Small Business Act 15 U.S.C. 637(a) and 637 (d), and any regulations promulgated pursuant thereto. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c.127. This contract or subcontract is expected to be funded in part with funds from the "New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and the New Jersey Environmental Infrastructure Financing Program" Project #S340023-10. Neither the State of New Jersey, the New Jersey Environmental Infrastructure Financing Program nor any of their departments, agencies or employees is, or will be, a party to this contract or subcontract or any lower tier contract or subcontract. This contract or subcontract is subject to the provisions of N.J.A.C. 7:22-3,4,5,9 and 10. A BID BOND drawn to the order of the Borough of Tuckerton in an amount equal to ten (10%) percent of the amount of the Bid, but no more than $20,000.00, must be submitted with the proposal as BID SECURITY, pursuant to Local Public Contract Law (LPC) 40A:11-21. Surety Bonds must be written by Surety Companies listed on Department Circular 570 in accordance with N.J.A.C. 7:22-3.17(g). Bids may be submitted by mail or in person at any time prior to the time for receiving and opening the same.
