Board of Public Works of the City of Wausau that it will receive sealed bids for the following project:2025 DOWNTOWN PARKING IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT 4-6 Inch Concrete Sidewalk 13,000 s.f. 18-30 Inch Concrete Curb and Gutter 1,400 l.f. Concrete Pavement 160 s.y. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid, as a guarantee that the bidder, if the bid is accepted, will execute and file the proposed contract and bonds within ten days after the awarding of the contract. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the Board of Public Works. The City of Wausau reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in bidding, and to award a contract in the best interest of the City of Wausau. A Performance Bond and also a Labor and Materials Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the total bid price,together with an executed contract in form prescribed by the City of Wausau will be required of the successful bidder. Requests for interpretation of plans and specifications shall be in writing and shall be answered in writing by the engineer or architect and concurred in writing by the Board of Public Works. Oral interpretations or instructions shall not be considered as binding the Owner nor shall they be considered as modifying any provisions of the contract. The work under this contract shall consist of removal of sidewalk and curb and gutter, common excavation, base aggregate dense, concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk, landscaping, and all incidental items necessary to complete the work as described in this contract.
