Renovation of a library in Urbana, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
The Project shall be a single prime contract and consists of minor interior renovation work for select areas of the Library, including the Circulation workroom on the 1st Floor, children's reading room "Megan's Room" on lower level, and finish improvements in first floor public areas. Work includes demolition, framing and drywall, interior finishes, electrical, HVAC, and minor technology, plumbing and fire protection work Bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified check made payable to the Urbana Free Library equal to 10% of the base bid amount shall be submitted with the bid. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, and Certificate of Insurance will be required from the successful bidder. The Urbana Free Library Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any or all documents submitted or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in the prequalification procedures and to approve trade contractors and vendors to bid in a manner serving the interest of the Urbana Free Library.
