The project includes full depth concrete pavement construction, drainage installation, credit card reader installation, grading, and pavement markings. The Airport Authority shall have the sole right and discretion to award a contract as deemed in the Authority's best interest. The Owner reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive technicalities as provided in Section 20-08 of the General Provisions. The engineer's estimate for the base bid is $499,700. It is a requirement of this project that the Bidder agrees to the fact that the Award of the Contract may not take place until the grants are in place and that the execution of the grants may take up to 90 days after the bid opening. Contractor shall provide adequately sized secondary wiring with 10 feet of slack for final terminations. B. Establish new connection of underground cable/conduit to new utility transformer. Additional guy-wire to be installed at Rricounty's discretion. TriCounty shall provide primary cabling from utility pole to utility pad mounted transformer. C. TriCounty to verify if the existing meter base is to be reused and coordinate if new meter is required. Establish connection to contractor installed secondary cable. D. TriCounty to coordinate with Conctractor to reuse or replace existing utility meter in Hangar #1.
