The Project includes the following Work: Construction of a proposed infiltration system at the intersection of Seahorse Avenue and South Shore Drive, which will reduce flooding on South Shore Drive. The proposed infiltration system at the intersection of Seahorse Avenue and South Shore Drive includes approximately 85 linear feet of 18" HDPE ((High-density polyethylene) pipe, two (2) standard NCDOT traffic bearing drop inlets, one (1) standard NCDOT manhole, approximately 325 square yards of permeable pavers, minor utility relocations and infiltration chambers totaling approximately 675 square feet. The Project has an expected duration of: 90 days to Substantial Completion and 120 days to Final Completion. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website for a purchase price established for each set. All payments are to be made to Duncan Parnell. Prospective Bidders must register and purchase Bidding Documents through the designated website in order to be considered an official plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format.
