Site work and paving for a transportation facility in New Orleans, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.
This request for information seeks public feedback on the potential use of a Project Labor Agreement for the Primary Runway and Pavement Repairs project at Joint Reserve Base New Orleans, Louisiana. Work may include full-depth reconstruction of pavement sections within the Runway 22 threshold, Runway 04/22, Taxiway Alpha, Taxiway Bravo, and Taxiway Foxtrot. Asphalt pavement mill and overlay and full-depth asphalt construction will be required to support the new concrete pavement, and the entire length of Runway 04/22 will require rubber and paint removal followed by re-striping. The project will be delivered using a design-bid-build method. The anticipated magnitude of construction is between $25 million and $100 million, with an estimated performance period of approximately 1,110 calendar days. Public input is requested regarding PLA applicability in accordance with Executive Order 14063 and Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 22.5.
