Renovation of an educational facility in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Project Location: 6801 South Grange Avenue, Sioux Falls, South Dakota 57108. The Work includes general and selective demolition as indicated on the Contract Documents. a. The Base Bid work includes the replacement of the existing Harrisburg Journey Elementary School roof area A as shown on the contract documents. b. The work includes demolition and removal of the existing roof membrane and ballast and replacing with a new cover board and roof membrane and associated flashings. c. The work includes removing the existing rock ballast and stockpiling the rock in the parking lot at location shown. Owner retains ownership of the rock ballast and will remove the rock ballast from the parking lot once project is completed. d. The work includes adding a cover board to the existing roof insulation. e. The work includes removing and replacing existing sheet metal copings, metal edge trim and installing new flashings and counter flashings at roof penetrations. f. Alternate(s) shall be included in the work scope if accepted by the Owner; see plans for additional information. The Work shall commence with Notice of Award by the School Board on or near May 12, 2025.
