The project is generally described as: Provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, services, transportation, and incidentals necessary to install 1,980 feet of new 12” waterline, bore and jack under Mechumps Creek, replacement of guardrail and pavement along Route 301 and other appurtenances in Hanover County, VA. All work shall be as described in the Project Manual and shown on the Contract Drawings. Project Location: This project is located along Route 301 to Mechumps Creek. B. The Work to be performed involves laying 1,980 feet of new 12” waterline. This project also includes a bore and jack under Mechumps Creek and there will be approximately 2.10 acres of land disturbance The pre-bid meeting and site-visit are to allow potential Bidders an opportunity to present questions and obtain clarification related to any facet of this project. While attendance will not be a prerequisite to submitting a bid, Bidders who intend to submit a bid are encouraged to attend. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bid Documents or Contract Documents, even those presented during both meetings shall be submitted in writing to the ENGINEER, Wiley|Wilson, Dan Sutton, P.E., dsutton@wileywilson.com and Liz Bell, lbell@wileywilson.com. In order to receive consideration, all questions should be received by the ENGINEER prior to 12:00 P.M., APRIL 22, 2025. Any changes made to the written requirements of the Bid Documents or Contract Documents shall be made by written Addendum only. A Bid Security of 5% shall be required of Bids $100,000 and greater. A Performance and Payment Bond, each equaling 100% of the contract amount shall be required of a CONTRACT that is $100,000 and greater.
