Description

Renovation of a municipal facility in Maple Ridge, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The City of Maple Ridge (the “City”) is seeking to pre-qualify general contractors experienced with completing tenant improvements in high-security environments. The City of Maple Ridge wishes to retain a contracting team for a tenant improvement renovation. The proposed area is approximately 85 square meters in size and is currently vacant. The City requires that the area be converted from its existing layout into a mix of workstations, offices, small meetings rooms as well as common support areas including a main copy/print room (to replace existing), storage room for media and a lunch room. This new proposed layout shows the capacity for thirteen workstations and up to three offices. Please refer to the example schematics in Appendix A. The scope of work generally includes demolition of existing interior partitions and non-structural walls, framing for walls and ceilings, perform modifications to existing t-bar dropped ceiling and drywall ceilings, installation of new electrical wiring, outlets, light fixtures, and emergency lighting as required; modification of existing HVAC system to suit new layout, modification of existing plumbing to suit new layout, install new drywall and painting as required, install new flooring such as carpet and vinyl, install new baseboards, trim and other finishes, and fabricate and install millwork as required.
