The South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice (SCDJJ) is seeking to purchase twenty-four (24) Trane Precedent Cooling and Gas/Electric HVAC units to be delivered to the maintenance facility. All units must be Trane models. Units to be delivered to: South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice (SCDJJ) 1745 Shivers Road Columbia, SC 29210. Question Deadline 04/15/2025 at 5:00 PM ET Questions regarding the original solicitation or any amendment must be received by the Procurement Officer no later than five (5) days prior to opening. SCOPE OF WORK/SPECIFICATIONS The South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice (SCDJJ) is seeking to purchase twenty-four (24) Trane Precedent Cooling and Gas/Electric HVAC units to be delivered to the maintenance facility. All units must be Trane models. Trane units are required to reduce any labor or materials that would be needed to re-design the spacing required for these units. SCDJJ has determined that the specific manufacturer/brand item listed is the appropriate product for this solicitation and only this item will be accepted. Trane Precedent Cooling and Gas/Electric model YSK090A3S0L – Quantity needed, sixteen (16) Trane Precedent Cooling and Gas/Electric model YHK060A3S0M – Quantity needed, eight (8) All units must be the following: • 208-230/60/3 Phase • DX cooling/gas heat • R-454B Refrigerant • Motorized Outside Air Damper • Hinged access doors with 2-inch MERV filters • Standard condenser coil with hail guard • Symbio 700 Controls • Through the base provision – electric/circuit breaker • Low ambient kit (field installed on each unit) Model YSK090A3S0L (16 complete units) must be the following: • Standard Efficiency • 7.5 Ton • Dual 1 Stage compressor with multi-speed fan • Low gas heat • Low ambient kit (field installed on unit) Model YHK060A3S0M ( 8 complete units) must be the following: • High efficiency • 5-ton • Single 2 stage compressor with multi-speed supply fan • Medium gas heat • Modulating hot gas reheat • Low ambient kit (field installed on each unit) Contractor must • Supply all drawings, cut sheets and literature from manufacturers verifying all specifications are stated to the requirements of the unit you are offering showing the exact dimensions, openings, piping, and electrical. Failure to show all required dimensions, openings, piping, and electrical will result in your offer being deemed a nonresponsive offer. If the using governmental unit requests delivery sooner than the time specified, contractor may invoice the ordering entity any additional shipping charges approved by the ordering entity on the purchase order.
