The City of Ottawa is seeking offers from qualified suppliers to provide all labour, equipment, and materials for the provision of the necessary labour, materials, equipment and services required to maintain Traffic Barrier Systems The intent of this Standing Offer is to supply the necessary labour, materials, equipment and services required to maintain Traffic Barrier Systems, as per referenced OPSS Specifications, and as directed by the City of Ottawa. The prices quoted shall include all labour, equipment, materials, incidentals, and all other costs associated with any required repairs, removals, replacement of defective materials, and miscellaneous reinstatement. Delivery of packaged, easy to unload and transport, Traffic Barrier Systems components shall be made during ordinary working hours (7:00 am to 3:00 pm) to 4244 Rideau Valley Drive, when the designated City Official is present, and any delivers made before or after working hours unless specifically stated on ordering, shall be at the Contractor's risk and subject to rejection and removal at his expense. All reusable materials from the existing Traffic Barrier Systems shall be salvaged and reused OR delivered to a designated Suburban East, Suburban West, Rural Roads or Urban Roads Area City Location in a manner suitable for reuse. Removals shall conform to OPSS.MUNI 510. Existing damaged Traffic Barrier Systems and associated material not designated for salvage and reuse shall be removed, managed and disposed of, off the site in conformance with OPSS 180. The proposed period of this standing offer is for a one-year term starting from Date of Authorization. Pricing shall remain firm for the initial authorization period. The Standing Offer may be extended for two (2) additional one (1) year extension options subject to continued requirement, satisfactory service, terms and conditions, and pricing, in the sole opinion of the City. Increases for standing offer renewals or extensions shall be in accordance with section 32 (4) of the Procurement By-Law.
