Reference Number 0000291063 Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/05/02 02:00:00 PM EDT Pricing Lump sum Scope of Work: The contractor is required to remove and dispose of the existing VCT floor tiles as noted in Appendix B floors plans and install new tiles as specified below, ensuring compliance with manufacturers' recommendations, industry standards, and safety regulations. Preparation and Removal Protect surrounding areas and adjacent flooring from damage . Remove all furniture and fixtures from the work 2 Safely remove existing VCT tiles and dispose of waste materials in accordance with local environmental regulations. Clean and prepare the subfloor, ensuring it is free of adhesive residue, debris, or damage. Subfloor Preparation: 1. Inspect the subfloor for any unevenness, cracks, or moisture issues. 2. Repair or level the subfloor as necessary to create a smooth surface suitable for tile installation. installation of New VCT Apply an approved esistant adhesive evenly to the subfloor install new VCT tiles following the specified layout pattern, ensuring proper alignment and spacing Roll the tiles with a heavy roller to secure adhesion and prevent air pockets. Cut and fit tilles precisely along edges, corners, and fixtures. Post-Installation: Allow adhesive s per the manufacturer's recommendations before heavy use Clean the newly installed floor, removing any excess adhesive or debris. Reinstall furniture and fixtures as required. Provide maintenance recommendations for the VCT flooring. Stock Provision Two hundred (200) square feet of additional new tile matching the above noted specification is to be provided as part of the project. This is to be provided in the manufacturers unopened packaging and turned over to the representative at the conclusion of the project.
