The intent of this Contract is to assign work to the Contractor(s) on an as-need basis. No guarantees will be made of size, amount, or quantity of any specified work orders/projects. The Contractor(s) shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, services, supervision and incidentals required to complete the work as directed by Union County staff and specified herein. Projects will be considered small in terms of dollar value in alignment with North Carolina State Statutes. No single project issued via this RFP will have a monetary value of over $30k. Examples of projects may include, but are not limited to: • Removing/ re-installing pumps, blowers, motors, etc. • Troubleshooting and repair of panels, controls etc. • Repairing/replacing piping in wetwells. • Simple repairs of catwalks, buildings, surfaces, tanks, and other structures • Rehabilitation of sand filters, diffusers, barscreens, grit removal systems, etc. • Any other repairs, maintenance, or tasks required for the safe, efficient operation of the WRFs or sewage pump stations. Union County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive technicalities and to make such selection deemed in its best interest.
