The contract term will be based on the estimated period of performance for this project, which will be 60 calendar days from issuance of Notice to Proceed. Roof Top Communications Equipment and Antennas Roof non-penetrating mounts are approximately 3' square Phasing and coordination of roof installation materials will be required The Communications Equipment contractor will relocate all communication equipment and antennae to an agreed upon temporary location on the roof while roof construction is being conducted so as not to interrupt City Communications The Communications Equipment contractor will be responsible for relocating and moving communications equipment back to its original location of service MMT will coordinate with each contractor to insure minimal interruption in construction Cabling can be loosened so that the roofers can work around the cabling For safety, roofers are advised not to work directly in front of the antenna, within 5' at all times. Final planning will be coordinated with MMT, Antenna Contractors and awarded roof vendor. Base Bid; Roof Overlay Specifications: Scope of Work Section 1.0 1. Infrared moisture scan of all existing low slope roof areas to be conducted by a 3 rd party technician licensed in the state of Colorado to identify any moisture held within the existing roof assembly, with awarded roofing contractor serving as Prime. 2. All identified wet/damaged insulation and cover board materials to be repaired inkind, tie-in repair with new SBS Modified Cap Sheet set in asphaltic mastic extending 9" into field of spudded roof. Include 5% total roof area repair in Base Bid. 3. Spud to remove all existing BUR flood coat adhesive and gravel and walk pads down to the existing cap sheet, legally dispose of off-site. Then broom/blow all roof areas to remove all debris. 4. Remove all existing coping metal, edge metal, flashings, lead jacks and flashings, and through-wall scupper lining metal. Legally dispose of off-site.
