The Town of Ramapo (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: New Traffic Signal at the Maple Avenue Intersection with Howard Drive/Park Lane The Project includes the following Work: At the intersection of Maple Avenue with Park Lane and Howard Drive, install mast arm traffic signal poles and associated equipment; left-turn lane installation for additional capacity on Maple Avenue, reconstruct ADA-compliant sidewalk and curb ramps; install high visibility crosswalks, asphalt milling and top course overlay; install pavement marking and signage; roadside restoration. It is intended to have the work substantially complete on or before December 31, 2026. This date is subject to negotiation with the Town if material delivery times do not allow for substantial completion by the date above, or if material delivery times provide sufficient time for the project to be completed earlier. The Bidders must comply with the New York State Department of Labor Prevailing Wage Rate Schedule. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidders will be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bid received or to reject any or all Bids without explanation.
