The work consists of all labor, material, and equipment to inspect approximately 40,000 linear feet (LF) of existing large-diameter sanitary sewers (36 inches and larger) using multi-sensor inspection (MSI) technology (laser/LiDAR, sonar, and HD imaging/HD CCTV). The majority of the assigned pipe materials are considered flexible (Fiberglass Reinforced Polymer (FRP), Spirolite (HDPE), and Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP)); therefore, the intent of MSI project is for general condition assessment purposes and to measure ovality and deflection within each pipeline. The MSI technology platform shall provide a representation of internal pipe conditions above the flow line using laser/LiDAR measurements and below the flow line using sonar measurement, with HD-quality imaging. The work includes collecting and processing the MSI data, and delivering the results of the processing in an open-source format without the need for proprietary viewers or software. The intent of these Contract Documents is to provide for construction and completion, in every detail, of the work described herein and in the plans. It is further intended that the Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, tools, transportation, supplies, and barricades required to complete the work in accordance with the plans, specifications, and terms of the Contract.
