Site work and paving for a civil project in Gonzales, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

This project includes the installation of approximately 500 linear feet of 6-inchwaterline, with fittings, fire hydrants, service taps and associated pavement repairs,approximately 1883 linear feet of 6-inch wastewater including manholes wastewater service connections and approximately 970 linear feet of 21-inchwastewater line including manholes, associated pavement repairs, trench safety,traffic control, and installation and removal of temporary erosion controls. Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashier's check or certified check upon a national or state bank in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total actual bid price payable without recourse to the City of Gonzales, or a bid bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute required performance and payment bonds. The contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder; however, the right is reserved, as the interests of the OWNER may require, to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informality or minor defects in bids received. Bids may beheld by the OWNER for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days from the date of the opening for Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract. There will not be a pre-bid conference. Contractors shall make their own individual site inspections and/or investigations to make themselves aware of existing conditions/issues. Failure to make adequate observations, investigations and/or ask questions prior to bidding shall not be grounds for requesting additional work or services. Questions shall be forwarded to J.
