Completed plans call for the addition of a military facility; for the demolition of a military facility; for site work for a military facility; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Extension of Second round RFI Questions due date August 22, 2025. The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service, Northeast and Caribbean Region is soliciting for a qualified General Contractor who can provide full construction services to expand and modernize the United States Land Port of Entry (LPOE) at Trout River, NY. The facility will incorporate and renovate the existing historic LPOE building in Trout River which is located near the United States / Canada border along New York State Route 30 in Constable, NY. The project scope includes expansion and modernization of existing LPOE facility with approximately 9,917 square feet of new additions and 7,748 square feet of historic renovation. The project is expected to include commercial and non-commercial vehicle inspection facilities on the New York Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) Route 30 Right of Way. The construction work includes but is not limited to: concrete footings, foundations, slabs, walkways, roadways, vehicle inspection canopies and inspection booths. Structural framing and installation of walls, ceilings, flooring, lighting, interior finishes, historic preservation, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and customer required infrastructure for IT, AV, and electronic security systems. Requests for Information (RFI's) are due in writing by submission to lisa.zalar@gsa.gov. When submitting RFI's please include the following in the subject line "Trout River LPOE GC RFI's (company name)". First Round of RFI's: Before the pre-proposal conference and site visit, by close-of-business Monday, July 21, 2025. Second Round of RFI's: After the pre-proposal conference and site visit, by close-of-business Thursday, August 7, 2025. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
