The project involves renovating six baseball fields, four softball fields, and two soccer fields. Irrigation will be installed on one full-size soccer field and half of a youth soccer field. Each field will be laser-graded to ensure a smooth playing surface. For the baseball and softball fields, the existing infield material will be excavated and replaced with Diamond Pro Red Infield Conditioner Mix or an equivalent material. The removed soil will be disposed of at a location designated by the City of Sand Springs. A curb border along the backstops is also a component of the project. Each Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Proposal Guaranty Payable to the City of Sand Springs for Five Percent (5%) of the Total Amount of the Bid A Certified Check May Be Used in Lieu of a Proposal Guaranty. Performance and Maintenance and Statutory Payment Bonds in the Amount Of 100 Percent (100%) of the Contract Price, With a Corporate Surety Approved by the City of Sand Springs, Will Be Required for the Faithful Performance of the Contract.
