The selected contractor shall: a. Secure all necessary permits, licenses and inspections for the proper completion and execution of the work. b. Provide all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, and related services for: c. Abatement of asbestos-containing plaster, floor tile, mastic, drywall, block filler, foundationsealant and thermal system insulation (TSI) d. Establishment and maintenance of regulated work areas e. Negative pressure containment and protection of unaffected areas f. Air monitoring and clearance procedures g. Transportation and disposal of ACM at approved facilities h. Contractor must comply with all governing regulations, including: j. Colorado state asbestos control regulations (Regulation 8, Part B) -- for certification, abatement procedures, notifications, and permits k. Colorado certification requirements -- all personnel must hold current state asbestos certification and the contracting firm must be a Colorado-certified General Abatement Contractor l.
