Additional Information: Estimated Quantities: Hauling Asphalt Concrete: 27 216 t.km Asphalt Concrete In Place, Contractor Supply: 1 028 t Completion Date: July 15, 2025 SCOPE The intent of this guideline is to aid in the design, testing, quality control, measurement and payment procedures for the application of Emulsified Asphalt Slurry Seal Surfacing. 2. DESCRIPTION Slurry seal shall consist of a mixture of an emulsified asphalt, mineral aggregate, water, and additives, proportioned, mixed and uniformly spread over a properly prepared surface as directed by the Buyer's Authorized Representative (B.A.R.). The slurry seal shall be applied as a homogeneous mat, adhere firmly to the prepared surface, and have a skid-resistant texture throughout its service life.
