A timeline for award has not yet been established ** The project to be constructed consists of replacing Pump Station 3 (PS3) and Pump Station 5 (PS5) generators at the Water Reclamation Plant (WRP) to provide standby power in case of an emergency or power loss, and related work. All questions relating to interpretation of the Contract Documents or products must be submitted via PlanetBids five (5) business days prior to the opening of bids, and responses modifying the contract documents will be in the form of written addenda, if required as further described in the bid documents. Questions submitted after this time period will not be answered. Completion Time: One Hundred (100) Working Days Bids To Be Received: 3:00 p.m. on September 18, 2025 Liquidated Damages: Project Milestone Dates as follows: Project Complete: $2,000 Per Calendar Day 1. Pump Station #3 near 1682 Pleasant Valley Rd in Camarillo, California. 2. Pump Station #5 near 21 S Wood Rd in Camarillo, California. The project includes but is not limited to: 1. Upgrades to existing site electrical systems at the Pump Station No. 3 and No. 5 sites including modifying the main switchboard, replacing the permanent standby generators with Owner-Furnished, Contractor installed permanent standby generators, replacing the automatic transfer switches (ATS) with Owner-Furnished, Contractor installed ATSs, installing new manual transfer switches (MTS) with Owner-Furnished, Contractor installed MTSs, adding circuits for the new generator load centers, and installing new duct banks with conduit and wiring. 2. Structural modifications including new concrete pads for the generators and electrical equipment. 3. Demolition of the existing concrete pads (at Pump Station No. 3 only) and removal of electrical equipment. All work must be coordinated with the Engineer, District staff, Project Schedule, Contract Period, Submittals, and other requirements of these Contract Documents. B. Construction signage shall be provided by Contractor as directed by the Engineer to ensure safety and convenience for staff and vendors onsite at the plant at no additional cost to the District. C. The District reserves the right to direct the order of work in the interest of safety and convenience. The Engineer will endeavor to give the Contractor 72 hours of notice of any such directed order of work. D. The Contractor must diligently execute the contract work within the allowed number of working days specified in Page 1 of the Bid Proposal, counting from the date stated in the Notice to Proceed for construction. The days to finish the punch list, provided by the District, are included in the working days. E. Contractor shall provide at least ten (10) working days notification in advance of planned connection to the Owner's existing pipelines, ducts, or electrical facilities or any activity that could potentially interfere with the operation of the District's facilities. Owner will operate existing valves and facilities.
