Every BID shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the BID, naming the City of St. George as obligee, this bid bond must be issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Utah and be on a bond form acceptable to the City of St. George. Completion- 75 Calendar Days Pavement: Existing pavement shall be saw cut with straight vertical edges free from irregularities when joining new construction. Concrete: Small structures, curb, curb and gutter, or waterway, and portions of such improvements designated to be left in place, shall be removed to an existing joint or to a joint sawed with a vertical face. Enough material shall be removed to provide proper grades and connections to new work. Disposal: Removed material shall be disposed of at locations determined by the Contractor, approved by the Engineer. The Contractor shall obtain appropriate agency permits and/or pay required dumping fees at disposal locations. Fill all holes or pits resulting from removal operations with suitable material and compact backfilled areas to the density of the surrounding ground, or as specified.
