The work, in general, consists of removing existing pipe penetrations through levees and replacing with reinforced concrete pipes, installing flap and slide/canal gates, reinforced concrete riser structures, and new reinforced concrete inlet/outlet structures as prescribed in the project plans and specifications. Work sites are accessible via levee roads with varying access conditions and constraints based on the time of year.
