Reference Number 0000383501 This RFP is for the design, permitting, construction and operation of a facility that will divert Solid Waste out of landfills and combustible incinerators. The facility may be located adjecent to the Agency facility at 999 Flatbush Road, Kingston, NY 12401, or may be sited at a different location. Processes considered but not limited to include: bio-gasification, plasma arc gasification, anaerobic digestion, hydrolysis, pyrolysis, mechanical seperation of waste(ie Dirty MRF) among other feasibile processes. The Agency currently landfills approximately 100,000 tons of MSW and 40,000 tons of Construction and Demolition Debris. The Agency also reserves the right to not award this RFP if none of the proposals are deemed to be in the best interest of the Agency.
