**As of June 05, 2025, the project was awarded to JM Construction, with an awarded amount of $598,609.50.** The work consists generally of reconstructing approximately 1,355 meters of trail with new crushed rock and tailings within the Irishtown Nature Park (Bouctouche Line Trail), Mapleton Park (Floodplain Trail and Riparian Trail), and Centennial Park (Muskrat Trail). The contract includes, but is not limited, to the removal of existing tailings, the addition of crushed rock and tailings, as well as topsoil and hydroseed on most sections of the trails. Culverts, retaining walls, benches and handrails must also be installed.
