LOFT Community Services is soliciting Bids from qualified Heritage Restoration Contractors to complete the Building Envelope restoration works at 344 Dundas Street West. .1 The work outlined herein is a general description. The specific requirements for the execution of the Work shall be as described in the bid documents. The itemized tasks of work outlined below correspond with the items outlined in the Tender Price Schedule. .2 The scope of work is applicable to the exterior wall repairs and window replacement on the west, south and north elevations. Refer to the plans and elevations. .3The building is designated on the City of Toronto Heritage Register. All scope of work undertaken shall respect the original features and appearance of the building. Detailed dimensions are to be recorded by the contractor of all existing elements to be replaced or refurbished (including windows, doors, stone masonry units, and decorative architectural wood, etc.). Samples of all existing elements to be replaced are to be salvaged to confirm accuracy of the proposed replacement elements.
