The purpose of this Request for Bid is to solicit competitive bids from qualified contractors for a Chiller Replacement, Controls Upgrade, and System Balancing at Jordan Valley for Canyons School District (CSD). It is anticipated that this RFB may result in a contract awarded to a qualified contractor for services as defined further in the solicitation. This RFB is designed to provide interested contractors with sufficient basic information to submit bids meeting minimum requirements, but is not intended to limit a bid's content or exclude any relevant or essential data. All bid preparation costs and any associated activities related to this RFB are the sole responsibility of the contractor. The bid covers the demolition of existing systems, furnishing and installing a new chiller, piping systems, chiller attenuation, and all necessary trim and specialties, etc., as specified and shown on drawings or as required to provide the complete heating / air conditioning systems and automatic temperature control upgrade as shown on the drawings and specified herein. Testing and Balancing is also required. Eligibility Requirements: The proposing Supplier must be properly licensed to do business in the State of Utah. 5 years of mechanical HVAC experience. Factory certified startup. Pre-Bid Meeting: Those that arrive late will not be permitted to sign the attendance sheet and participate with the contract opportunity.
