Question Submission Deadline:April 29, 2025, 5:00pm This is an invitation to submit a bid to the Glynn County Board of Commissioners for: The successful vendor will provide all skills, labor, and materials needed for the upgrades to the lighting at the Tennis and Pickleball Courts at North Glynn Sports Complex. North Glynn Recreation Complex has 4 tennis courts and 12 Pickleball courts in 4 fenced areas. Tennis courts are designed with 2 courts per fenced area. Pickleball courts are designed with 6 courts per area. The lights on the courts were built per standard tennis court light specifications. There are 9 poles per fenced area with 12 1500W metal halide lights on each pole. The purpose of this project is to upgrade the lights to LED, maintaining or exceeding the generally accepted light quality standards for recreational tennis and pickleball courts, replace the wiring system to accommodate the new LED lights, and replace light control system and timers. Glynn County has partnered with OpenGov and is excited to announce our transition from a paper-based bid solicitation process to a fully automated, web-based electronic bidding and vendor management system. Our new e-Procurement Portal will allow interested parties to do the following: o Register to bid and receive notifications of future opportunities in the e-Procurement Portal by selecting Subscribe to create an account. o Follow updates to existing solicitations by finding the solicitation and clicking the Follow button. This will allow all interested parties to receive amendments and addenda automatically. o Submit questions and receive answers for open solicitations. o Guide vendors through the process of responding electronically to RFPs, bids, etc. to ensure submissions have been accurately completed. o Ultimately, be your one location for all bid opportunities issued by Glynn County SCOPE OF WORK A. Furnish and replace/install new LED lights on existing poles (48 total lights) B. Install a new lighting control system: a simple on-off light system with an override that ensures the system only operates during pre-set times (such as 5pm-10pm) C. Install timers at each date to control each court individually D. Replace control wires as needed - wire so that lights for each set of courts can be operated individually - needs to be in conduit underground outside the court area - Sets are as follows: a.
