Respondents are asked to provide the following information, as available: 1. What are your production capabilities (e.g., pipe, fittings/specials, end treatments, internal/external coating, quantity, size)? 2. What applicable standards are used in manufacturing? 3. What are your testing capabilities (e.g., pressure, non destructive, holiday) 4. What quality management certifications do the production facilities have (e.g., ISO9001)? 5. Where are the materials sourced? 6. Where is the pipe manufactured? 7. Do you work with any third parties to supply coatings? If so, who do you work with? 8. What are your top three (3) market sectors? 9. Who are some of your top clients procuring large diameter pipe? 10. What barriers exist that impact your ability to respond to City of Calgary competitions? 11. What risks might limit your interest in City of Calgary projects? 12. Are technical staff available for a detailed presentation/interview? 13. Attach any additional supplemental information that may be beneficial to The City. The scope of this RFI is to: i. Identify potential steel pipe suppliers and establish contacts. ii. Assess pipe procurement approaches. iii. Decrease procurement lead times.
