This project will remodel and refresh approximately 3,390 square feet of offices in Communications Building-Suite 1200, the adjacent corridor and conference room. Construction includes but is not limited to construction of a new service counter with two fire rated coiling counter doors, patch and paint all walls and door frames, new flooring and all associated mechanical and electrical work. Questions regarding the scope of work should be directed to the Design Professional. This project consists of, but not limited to, remodeling of existing office space. Bids will be received for a single General Construction Contract. Bid security shall be agreed upon as the measure of liquidated damages which the Owner will sustain by failure, neglect or refusal of bidder to deliver a signed contract stipulating performance of the Work in unqualified compliance with Contract Documents. Successful bidder will be required to furnish a Contract Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract sum within ten (10) days after receipt of Notice of Award. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 45 calendar days after the date of opening. The Iowa Board of Regents seeks to provide opportunities for Targeted Small Businesses in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 73 of the Code of Iowa. This project has a participation goal of 10% for certified Targeted Small Businesses as specified in the Project Requirements. By virtue of statutory authority, a preference will be given to products and provisions grown and coal produced within the state of Iowa. The Iowa Board of Regents, reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and to accept that bid which is deemed in the best interest of the Owner. Substantial Completion: 60 Days (Approximately July 26, 2025) Final Completion: 120 Days (Approximately September 24, 2025) Bid Estimate: $148,000.00
