The University of Mississippi Medical Center reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids All be addressed as follows: Address: Facilities Services The University of Mississippi Medical Center Apartment Building B, Room AB003 2500 North State Street Jackson, Mississippi 39216 SCOPE OF WORK 2.1 The future new addition to the School of Dentistry requires that a Primary Padmounted 15KV Switch and a 1500 KVA Transformer for the School of Medicine be relocated. The Contractor shall install a refurbished Primary Padmounted 15KV Switch and an existing 3000 KVA Transformer that will be provided by the Owner at a location north of the School of Dentistry and be reconnected to the underground primary system and to the School of Medicine, similar to the existing connections. The installation of the switch, the transformer, new underground conduits and cabling shall all be performed and prepared as much as possible prior to any outage to transfer terminations and connection to the active primary system. If required, the outage shall also be minimized by making terminations on the new B primary circuit while it is not active. Once completed, then transferring loads to the B primary circuit and making terminations to the inactive A primary circuit. The outage required for this changeover shall occur over a weekend or any time period allowed by the Owner. The majority of these new conduit installations shall be bored.
