The City of Cincinnati seeks qualified bidders for HAM Cincinnati Ped Safety FY25, PID 119754, an LPA project. This project includes pedestrian safety improvements at six locations throughout the city. Raised crosswalks will be installed on Hatmaker St near Oyler School, Main St near Rothenberg Preparatory Academy, and Herschel Ave near Kilgour School. Sidewalk will be constructed on Duck Creek Rd between Evanston Ave and Crane Ave. Intersection redesigns with curb extensions will be constructed at Central Pkwy and Stark St, and at Red Bank Rd and Woodford Rd. The project's work includes earthwork excavations and embankments; concrete flatwork such as curbs, sidewalks, and drives; stormwater improvements such as manholes, inlets, and pipes; curb signage installation; curb ramps; curb extensions; flexible delineators; and other associated roadway construction items. All bidders must be ODOT pre-qualified for the type of work specified and must comply with all applicable federal requirements. Bids must be accompanied by a bid surety of not less than 10% of the bid amount and the successful bidder will be required to provide a performance surety of not less than 100% of the contract value. All bidders will be subject to the provisions of the Federal requirements regarding equal employment opportunity and disadvantaged businesses. Failure of the bidder to comply with these requirements shall be cause for rejection of the bid.
