Furnishing of all labor and material for the construction of the following described Grand Rapids Housing project located at 8th St. SW, Grand Rapids, MN 55744. Sealed Bids delivered to the City of Grand Rapids will be received and accepted by the City Clerk at the City of Grand Rapids, MN City Hall by the time and location listed To be considered, all prospective bidders must complete the entire Bid Form / Bidding Requirements and provide all of the required information and completed forms. Bid Forms must be completed according to the Bidding Requirements prepared by BJ Baas Builders, Inc. The following sections are closed for bidding and bids will not be accepted for these spec sections. 150000 - 160000 Mechanical / Plumbing / Fire Suppression / Electrical / Low Voltage Soil Correction - Aggregate Piers have been awarded. Bid package 1 to provide pricing accordingly. Bidding Requirements: 1. By submitting a bid, and for that bid to be accepted, you are agreeing to the following: a. The terms and conditions of our standard subcontract agreement. b. Providing a signed copy of "Exhibit B" our safety requirements. c. Providing a fully completed and signed Bid Form / Bidding Requirements with all required information filled out to its entirety. d. Providing a current insurance certificate that includes general liability insurance and worker's compensation insurance. BJ Baas Builders, Inc. needs to be listed as the certificate holder, and as an additional insured per "Exhibit A" and "Exhibit C" of the subcontract agreement. e. Providing proof of Secretary of State Registration. f. Providing proof of Department of Labor Registration. g. Providing proof of a current and Valid W9 with Taxpayer Identification Number. h. Providing a complete and accurate Vendor list with all necessary percentages and contact information. i. Confirmation of meeting the proposed project schedule in regards to design, permitting, submittals, material leads times, and manpower. j. If multiple bid packages are to be bid, they will need to be listed separate from one another. k. Bid Packages and Spec sections that are being bid must be clearly listed on the exterior of the sealed bid envelope. This Work shall be subject to minimum wages and labor standards in accordance with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry The City of Grand Rapids and BJ Baas Builders, Inc. reserve the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award subcontracts in the best interests of the City.
