Renovation of an educational facility in Indianapolis, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 4,300-square-foot educational facility.

A Bid Bond or certified check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount Bid must be submitted with each Bid. A one hundred percent (100%) Performance and Payment Bond will also be required of the successful Bidder(s). The Work consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, the entirety of Work required for the following item of Work: 1. Construct Clerk's Office Space Build-Out in Marion Superior Courts. The rough square footage for the space is 4,300sf. The scope includes the following: demolition, construct walls and ceiling, interior finishes, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical. Bidders shall assure they have obtained complete sets of drawings and Contract Documents and shall assume the risk of any errors or omissions in Bids prepared in reliance on incomplete sets of drawings and Contract Documents. This Work will be funded by the Authority. The Authority shares the City of Indianapolis' commitments and goals for Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Women's Business Enterprises (WBE), Veteran Business Enterprises (VBE) and Disability-Owned Business Enterprises (DOBE, and together with MBE, WBE, and VBE, hereinafter referred to as "XBE") and adopts the City's XBE participation goals into this Bid. The participation goal for MBEs for this contract is fifteen percent (15%), the participation goal for WBEs for this contract is eight percent (8%), the participation goal for VBEs is three percent (3%), and the participation goal for DOBEs is one percent (1%). All Bidders will be subject to the City's XBE Business Utilization Plan ("Utilization Plan"), which is a program utilized and adopted by the Authority in practice. In evaluating a Bidder's responsibility, the Authority will consider the Bidders' XBE Inclusion/Participation Plan. Bidders will be required to submit an XBE Inclusion/Participation Plan (an "Inclusion Plan") to the City's Office of Minority and Women Business Development ("OMWBD") detailing the involvement of XBE vendors in the Work and obtain a Memorandum of Good Faith issued by the OMWBD upon approval of Bidders' Inclusion Plan as part of any responsive Bid. Bidders must submit copies of the Inclusion Plan and the Memo to the Authority, as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities and to accept the Bid which it deems most favorable to the interest of the Authority after all Bids have been examined and canvassed.
