EMERGENCY DEBRIS REMOVAL - DREDGING LAKE TAHOMA NC Waterway Debris Removal Related To Hurricane Helene Lake Tahoma, And The Big Buck Creek And Little Buck Creek, McDowell County, North Carolina This is a Sources Sought/Request for Information only. This is NOT a Solicitation Announcement, nor is it a Request for Proposal. This request does not obligate the Government in any contract award. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District, (CESAW) is conducting research to determine the market capabilities of potential contractors to perform emergency debris removal - dredging. CESAW wants to identify contractors experienced with strategies, procedures to accomplish this requirement and has the resources to respond to the Helene Hurricane ongoing recovery missions for this lake, impacted by recent storms and Hurricane Helene. The works areas for this dredging service are Lake Tahoma and the immediately adjacent feed waters, Buck and Little Buck Creeks, City of Marion, County of McDowell State of NC. The overall magnitude of construction for this project will be between $250,000,000 and $500,000,000; if all options exercised. The NAICS Code for this project is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction and the size standard is $45M. [NOTE: Dredging - To be considered small for purposes of Government procurement, a firm must perform at least 40 percent of the volume dredged with its own equipment or equipment owned by another small dredging concern. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
