The City of Plano is soliciting bids for this project that includes the installation and turn-on of 240 fully functional traffic signal cabinets throughout the City of Plano. Mobotrex/Eagle ATC cabinets are being procured under a separate contract with the first deliveries expected before June 1, 2025. This "Installation Only" project includes retrieval of the ATC cabinets from the City of Plano warehouse at 4100 W. Plano Parkway, Plano, TX 75093; transport of the cabinets to the signalized intersection location; placement of traffic control signing and cones for work zone warnings and possible lane closures; labeling of the existing cables (prior to existing cabinet removal) with current signal phasing assignments; removal of existing cabinet and transport back to the City of Plano warehouse; installation of new ATC cabinet; field wiring the existing cables to the new cabinet; testing, documentation, final acceptance, and warranty of new cabinet installations; and clean-up of installation site.
