Dubuque Street Mill and Overlay Project - E 29th Street to E 32nd Street The City of Davenport is accepting bids for the Dubuque Street Mill and Overlay Project, E 29th Street to E 32nd Street, project. The proposed improvements include, but are not limited to, the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the mill and overlay of Dubuque Street from E 29th Street to E 32nd Street. Work shall also include the resetting of all existing utility surface features to finish grade, placement of ADA compliant sidewalk curb ramps, replacement of the adjacent driveway approaches, topsoil, sodding, erosion control and other related items. For all bids over $100,000, the City of Davenport requires a Bid Bond of 5% of the bid amount. A copy of the front page of the bid bond must be attached in the "Response Attachments" tab of the bid package. Bids over $100,000, submitted without a bid bond will not be considered. For awarded bids over $100,000, the awarded contractor will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount, and said bond to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the City and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the Contract and the terms and conditions therein contained. Working Days - There are no Working Days for this contract. The Contractor shall complete all work, including final cleanup and removal of all equipment for the bid by August 15, 2025. Liquidated Damages - Liquidated damages shall be $500.00 per day. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and irregularities, if it is deemed in the public interest to do so.
