Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Clemmons, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a 2,953-square-foot, two-story above grade municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The project is generally described as a two-story office building, totaling 2,953 square feet. The Village of Clemmons is seeking sealed bids from qualified General Contractors for the construction of an office building at 6604 Village Point Lake Drive in Clemmons, NC. Bids received by hand, courier, delivery service, mail, or any other means after the advertised deadline will not be opened. They will be returned tothebidder. A Bid Bond or certified check in the amount of 5% of the bid amount is required to be included with the bid. Bidders will also be required to review and follow the Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprise requirements as established by The Village of Clemmons and contained within the bidding documents. Bids shall be assembled in the following manner, consisting of two separate sealed envelopes. One envelope shall contain the bidder's M/WBE information and their bid bond. Representatives of the architect and the owner will be present to discuss the project and to present the Village's M/WBE requirements for this project. The Affidavit A, Listing of Good Faith Efforts, must be properly executed with the Bid providing evidence that the prime contractor has complied with the good faith efforts measures before bidding to solicit M/WBEs and to meet the goals (unless the prime contractor intends to perform 100% of the work with Own Workforce and properly executes Affidavit B)
