Renovation of a medical facility in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
This Government of Saskatchewan is seeking Construction Management (CM) At Risk Services for the Saskatoon City Hospital Acute Care (SCHAC) Project in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The selected CM will be required to provide all services necessary and required for the inspection, management, coordination and administration of the Project, from commencement through substantial completion, final acceptance, and project closeout. The Project will involve the relocation of outpatient programs into community lease space(s) and leasehold renovations, as well as renovations to four units within the Saskatoon City Hospital (SCH), adding 109 acute inpatient beds by March 31, 2026. The 109 acute inpatient beds will consist of 60 General Medicine beds, 22 Acute-Rehab beds, 12 Acquired Brain Injury beds, and 15 high-acuity beds. Ancillary and support services within SCH will also be added or expanded, with SHA leading the work, to support these new acute care beds. This may include adjustments such as Environmental Services (EVS), Nutrition and Food Services (NFS), RACE Team, Pharmacy Services, Medical Imaging (MI), Protective Services, Building Services, System Flow, and Lab Services.
