Site work and paving for a road / highway in Boscobel, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of June 12, 2025 this project was awarded to Fahrner Asphalt Sealers, Inc, in the amount of $97,376.90 for 2025 construction of CONTRACT 1: Concrete Work to include 300 Ft. of Curb and Gutter, and miscellaneous work shown on the Plans and Specifications. CONTRACT 2: Bituminous Pavement to include 100 Tons, Base Preparation and miscellaneous work shown on the Plans and Specifications. at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read. The project is part of the Local Road Improvement Program. All bids shall be addressed to the Director of Public Works, City of Boscobel, Wisconsin, with the name and address of the Bidder distinctly indicated on the outside of the envelope Sealed bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond payable to the City of Boscobel in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the scheduled time of opening bids. The reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities in bidding, or accept the bid deemed most advantageous to said City. In accordance with the Wisconsin State Statutes 66.0901, all BIDDERS must submit to the Board of Public Works - Proof of Responsibility - on forms furnished by the City. If the Contractor has previously qualified with the City, it is not necessary to file a "BIDDER'S PROOF OF RESPONSIBILITY."
