Written questions regarding the Invitation to Bid shall be forwarded to the Clerk of Council, City of Independence, 6800 Brecksville Road, Independence, Ohio 44131, and received at least five (5) business days before the date of the bid opening All bidders are required to comply with Chapter 158 of the Citys Codified Ordinances. Failure to comply with any provision therein may be grounds for disqualification. The Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids. All questions and answers will be shared with all registered contractors. SCOPE OF WORK The project includes but is not limited to the following components: Control ofthe existing High-Definition projection system Wireless and wired microphone interfaces Each room will have a wireless mic assigned to it. One handheld and one lapel must be able to work simultaneously Wireless mics will be able to run on off-the-shelf batteries or rechargeable batteries, Basic system controls at the rack should allow combining and separating ofthe rooms by raising or lowering a graphic air wall as is currently set up on the existing system. There should also be a system reset button to send all configuration back to "base", assigning all microphones to their original preset rooms, and all video panels should send video only to the projector in thei , System must integrate with existing Audio amplifiers and speakers. HDMI and wireless connectivity for presentations via AirTame or similar ,User-friendly control system (touch panel or similar) QSYS control system o All setup functionalities should be available at the main rack, and be accessible from an iPad. o Installation, programming, and testing of all equipment o Training for staff on system operation o Ongoing technical support and warranty coverage o All network switching equipment will be Ruckus network gear o Each room should include a 10" touchscreen for in room control ofthat rooms audio and video. o The city can provide a lift for the duration ofthe installation Projection Requirements: o Each room will have basic room control ofthe volume, screen up/down, picture mute, and option PTZ camera, source selection for Denon (or similar) multimedia system in main rack or Bluetooth locally within each room.
