The scope of work consists of trunk injection treatments of ash trees in Arlington. The work will be performed on public street trees and on Town owned properties. All quantities and allowances on the bid form are estimates only. Every request for such interpretation shall be in writing and emailed to Mary Ellen De Natale, Purchasing Agent, at mdenatale@town.arlington.ma.us, and to be given consideration must be received at least four (4) days, Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays excluded, prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. The term of this contract will be for one year commencing June 1, 2025, and ending July 31, 2026. The Town reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to renew the contract for two additional years, in one-year increments, at the bid price submitted for each year. The Town Manager reserves the right to cancel this IFB, or reject in whole or in part any and all bids, if he determines that cancellation or rejection serves the best interests of the Town.
