Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lexington, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a 900-space sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; transportation facility; transportation facility; and water / sewer project.

This project consists of construction of construction of a relocated and extended Terminal Drive; construction of additional parking lots. Major line items of work to include: 900+ additional parking spaces; one half mile of new Terminal Drive; 3,000 tons of new hot mix asphalt; one half mile of storm sewer pipe; 7,000+ square feet of combined hardscape, sidewalk, and landscaping; a new utility corridor; 5,000+ linear feet of new curb and gutter; 500 linear feet of sheltered walkway; and a new exit toll plaza with building. Each sealed Bid shall be accompanied by an irrevocable Bank Letter of Credit, or a Bid Bond satisfactory to LFUCAB with good corporate surety, in a sum not less than ten (10%) percent of the aggregate amount of the Bid, payable without condition to the LFUCAB, to guarantee that if the Bidder's offer results in an Award, that the Bidder will furnish all required bonds, insurance certificate(s) and insurance policy(ies) within fourteen (14) Calendar Days after the Notice of Award is given, and enter into the Contract for the bid amount. The LFUCAB proposes to award the Contract to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder, provided it has met the goals for DBE participation or, if failing to meet the goals, has made an acceptable good faith effort to meet the established goals for the DBE participation. Bidder is advised that LFUCAB reserves the right to reject any and all Bids submitted, to waive any and all informalities, irregularities and/or technicalities in any Bid or Bid Guaranty, to accept any Bid deemed advantageous to it; and, to negotiate changes, deletions, or additions to these Contract Documents with the successful Bidder.
