This Invitation for Bids (IFB) is issued to procure the goods or services, as specified in this Section 2, from a contract between the successful bidder(s) and the State of Maryland ("State"): The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) is seeking a qualified contractor to perform preventative maintenance service and repairs to the overhead doors, interior, and exterior entrance doors at the following three (3) locations. 1). District-5 Annapolis Maintenance Shop 138 Defense Highway, Annapolis, Maryland 21401 The Annapolis Maintenance Shop has a total of eighteen (18) overhead doors, approximately twenty-four (24) exterior entrance doors, approximately twelve (12) interior entrance doors, and two (2) double doors. 2). MD-32 Odenton Salt Dome Satellite Facility 8208 Telegraph Road, Odenton, Maryland 21113 The MD-32 Odenton facility has one (1) overhead door and two (2) entrance doors. 3). Tracy's Landing Salt Dome Satellite Facility 5820 Solomons Island Road, Lothian, Maryland 20711 The Tracy's Landing facility has one (1) overhead door and three (3) entrance doors. The overhead door sizes run from 8' x 10' to 15' x 20'. All overhead doors are sectional overhead doors on tracks. Pricing for this work shall be a lump sum for the preventative maintenance work at the three (3) locations as described here-in and time and materials pricing for repairs. Local Time An overall Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) or Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) subcontract participation goal of 0 percent of the total contract dollar amount, including all renewal option terms, if any, has been established for this procurement. The overall MBE or DBE subcontract participation goal includes the following subgoals, which have been established for this procurement: 0% for African-American MBEs; 0% for Asian-American MBEs; 0% for Hispanic-American MBEs; and 0% for Woman-Owned MBEs. The duration/term of the contract is twenty-four (24) months.
