The Iron County Fair Association will accept bids for emptying and rebagging garbage cans, removing garbage and debris left on the ground, and maintaining sanitary conditions in two restroom facilities during the entire 2025 Iron County Fair event (7/31 thru 8/5 cleanup); all at the Iron County Fairgrounds in Saxon, Wisconsin. The successful bidder will provide this service as an independent contractor and shall be required to provided proof of maintaining Commercial Liability Insurance coverage and, if applicable, Workman's Compensation Insurance coverage during that time period. Cleaning and restroom supplies, garbage bags, garbage cans, and a dumpster will be provided on site by the Iron County Fair Board. Bids must be submitted in writing and include information about: Name and contact information for the person(s) responsible for a bid, bidder's ability to provide the service in a dependable manner, the amount that the Fair Association will be charged for the service, and any other information considered important by the bidder. All bids submitted shall be kept confidential until the May Iron County Fair Board meeting when the Board will review them. The Iron County Fair Board reserves the right to refuse any and/or all bids received, or to accept the bid that it considers to be in the best interest of the Iron County Fair Association
