Site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Mead, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
construction of a three span 91'-9" concrete deck slab bridge and other related incidental work The project is referred to as "Ithaca East, C-78(600)" and shall include all labor, materials, transportation and equipment required for the construction of a three span 91'-9” concrete deck slab bridge on a 0-degree skew with 28 ft. clear roadway, channel shaping, roadway grading, and related incidental work. The project is located on County Road H, between Road 12 and Road 13, in Saunders County, Nebraska. The desired completion is November 1, 2025. The successful bidder (i.e. Contractor) will be allowed seventy-five (75) calendar days for completion after beginning work at the site, provided they do not exceed their specified completion date. Additional days due to weather may be granted at the discretion of the Engineer. Within ten (10) days following the award of the Contract, the successful bidder shall furnish a surety bond or bonds in an amount equal to or greater than the full amount of the contract. The surety and form of the bonds are subject to acceptance by the Saunders County Board of Supervisors. The Saunders County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any irregularities in bids received.
