Project Description: This will be a Design-Bid-Build Project pursuant to ARS Section 34-601 et seq. A general description of the Project is: Gilbert intends to remove turf on 5 locations: Cosmo Park, Crossroads Park, Freestone Park, Cactus Yards and Water Ranch. Construction work, in general, consists of eradication of existing Bermuda grass turf areas, providing new ramadas, new fabric shade structures, new concrete sidewalk, new decomposed granite, plant material, and drip irrigation improvements. The work also consists of the removal of existing concrete headers, installation of new concrete headers, and the installation of new roller compacted decomposed granite trail system.; and other incidental work, invoiced, paid and reported to grant agency by June 30, 2026. The Preliminary Project Description is attached. One contract may be awarded. One firm may be awarded the contract. There will be a single final list of at least three and not more than five firms. This project is funded through the Water Conservation Grant Fund Agreement between the Town of Gilbert and the Water Infrastructure Finance Authority of Arizona (the Grant Fund Agreement) and federal Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) and will follow the Grant Fund Agreement and American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA) funding requirements, including without limitation the Department of the Treasury's Final Rule implementing the SLFRF program and the Office of Management and Budget's (OMB) Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards 2 CFR, part 200 (Uniform Guidance). The firm selected should have knowledge and expertise in the area of compliance with the Uniform Guidance. It is anticipated that a contract may be awarded for PM/CM services in June 2025.
