The University of Washington (UW or University) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from Consultant firms to provide feasibility study services for a central utility plant for the UW Medical Center, Northwest Campus site located in the Haller Lake neighborhood of Seattle. This solicitation is for feasibility study services only and the consultant selection will be made based on the Statement of Qualifications. The selected firm for the feasibility study would be eligible to submit qualifications as part of the future solicitation process for project design and construction. The UW Medical Center (UWMC) has two medical center locations: the Montlake Campus and the Northwest Campus, both in Seattle. The Seattle campuses provide comprehensive healthcare services under a single license. The University is in the process of finalizing the 2024 Major Institution Master Plan (MIMP) update with the City of Seattle. Through the MIMP process, the University identified the need for a central utility plant to realize the campus development goals. This feasibility study will provide project definition of the future central utility plan and related improvements. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
